Gwen’s former police partner and good friend – who has never quite understood what Torchwood is, and still believes it is part of a police Special Ops division. However he appreciates that it deals with ‘spooky’ things and as such is always willing to trust them, mainly due to Gwen’s presence.
In Torchwood: Children Of Earth, he finds himself defending Gwen and the others, despite Johnson and her soldiers branding them terrorists.
