0710: Good morning and welcome to day three of the BBC's live coverage of the London 2012 Torch relay. Monday sees the torch travelling from Exeter to Taunton, with 113 torchbearers covering 135 miles before an evening celebration at Somerset Cricket Ground. Expectant crowds have gathered at The Quay in Exeter and the torch team are gathering - we're expecting the relay to kick-off in about 15 minutes.
0721: It's an overcast morning in Exeter but the forecast for the day is good - get in touch with us if you're on the route, carrying the torch today or following our coverage online. You can e-mail yourpics@bbc.co.uk or text 61124, tweet us at @BBC2012 or visit our Facebook page at BBC London 2012.
Here at Torch Relay HQ we'd love to hear from you. Lyn Turner has already been in touch on Twitter. "Good morning! #bbctorchcam, I am looking forward to day 3, seeing our torch bearers and the wonderful scenery."
0727: You can find many of the details you'll need on this page. With the torch due to pass within 10 miles of 95% of the population, it might not be far away from you! To find out when it is coming closest to you, scroll down below this text commentary to the search box and enter your postcode or town name to see the five days when it will pass closest to your front door.
If you plan to see the torch live, scroll down to the map to find out whether you need to take sunscreen or an umbrella. Hover the mouse over the venue you are visiting and the forecast for that day will come up. Click on the More Detail tab to get a full five-day forecast for the town or city.
0728: We also provide live travel news on the day. Below the map you will see travel alerts. Hover the mouse over an entry for more details and click through for more information to help you plan your journey.
0729: You can't see it on the live feed, but the BBC's Johnny Morris in Exeter tells us Paul Giblin has kicked off the relay, running from the Custom House in Exeter holding Olympic torch.
0730:Paul has been nominated for his hard work organising the Exeter Respect Festival, the city's annual celebration of diversity, and he's now handed onto 76-year-old Stan Hacking. The former Royal Marine organises a band of volunteer musicians who have so far raised more than £235,000 for charity.
0731: Now on the road - and visible on #bbctorchcam to the left, is Sidmouth fundraiser Tracy Markell. A woman of action, we're told she plays netball, runs, rows, cycles and sails to boost charity coffers.
0734: The torch is picked up by Exeter swimming teacher and first aider Margot Le Vesconte. We're told the 52-year-old also has an eye on conservation organising beach and churchyard clean-ups. There's a healthy crowd lining the streets of Exeter for the relay, cheering and clapping the runners on. Looks quite warm too, although a little bit of sunshine wouldn't go amiss.
0736: Is this the first time the torch has been carried on the route by a native New Zealander? It's PE trainer Will Katene's turn to carry the flame. And the bearers have kept up the continental tradition of kissing each other on the cheek after their torches have "kissed". Will gave Margot's hand a squeeze as well - a nice touch.
0740: The next bearer Sally Smith pulls Will in for another kiss. We're told Sally has encouraged women to push boundaries throughout her career. The 65-year-old isn't shy of a flame or two after competing in the female world hot air balloon championships. She's now learning windsurfing and electric guitar. Meanwhile, Exeter officials say they're impressed with the turn-out, with Councillor Rosie Denham telling the BBC: "I am genuinely shocked to see many people here. Everyone will remember it for the rest of their lives."
0747: And we're now into convoy mode for the first time today as the flame is transferred into a lantern for a drive down the A30 to Okehampton.
0752: If you're planning on heading out to see the torch today it's travelling to the following communities: Exeter, Okehampton, Folly Gate, Hatherleigh, Merton, Great Torrington, Bideford, Sticklepath, Barnstaple, Wrafton, Braunton, Knowle, Ilfracombe, Combe Martin, Lynton, Lynmouth, Porlock, Minehead, Dunster, Carhampton, Washford, Williton and Taunton.
During the day the Flame will also pass a number of iconic landmarks including the Taw Bridge and Dunster Castle.
0800: Hello to all the folks getting in touch via twitter and facebook - thanks for joining us from as far afield as Brisbane, Australia, as Alexander Geikie tweets: "Watching convoy live on my computer and listening via BBC Radio Devon wirelessly on iPhone from Brisbane, Australia @BBC2012 @GorgsGeikie"
0801: After Okehampton, the torch is heading to Follygate, where it is expected in around half an hour. And Follygate is "pulling out all the stops" says BBC Radio Devon's Kirk England: "It's wall-to-wall bunting."
0810: And there's the sunshine! We're hopeful the sun will be out for the rest of the day - fingers crossed...
0813: Zut alors! We're back in torchbearer mode and this is a big moment for Frenchman Francois Meston. The 49-year-old says he's dreamed of carrying the Olympic torch since he was a small child. Who'd have thought his wish would be fulfilled on the streets of Okehampton?
0818: How much money can you raise from an annual pig roast? Our next torch bearer Dave Stokes has the answer as he has raised more than £15,000 for Cancer Research UK. The 40-year-old is also involved in running the Bridgwater Carnival.
0821: The flame goes to Nettie Costin who wants to encourage youngsters to have more adventures. Nettie makes that happens through music and sport.
Graham Thompson tweets: "Wish you hadn't mentioned Pig Roast, mouth watering and the missus isn't back from the shop yet with the bacon! @BBC2012" Feel your pain - @killingstation is what we're relying on for bacon butties...
0825: Here's Olympic shooting hopeful Gorgs Geikie, 28, who will be getting a lot of support according to her friend, modern pentathlete Heather Fell. "She's a local girl," Heather tells the BBC. "I know how excited she is and what it means to her."
As for Gorgs herself, she's stoked. "Being on your home turf is wow", she tells us.
0827: Fabulous scenes in Okehampton - the crowd is five-deep on both sides of the road - at 0830 on a school day! Buntingtastic!
0830: Next up is Martin Morgan, who gets his chance to share in the Olympic experience after missing out on a spot on Britain's taekwondo team for 2012. As well as being a dedicated sportsman, the 19-year-old spends his time organising charity events.
0836: And we're back in convoy mode on the outskirts of Okehampton, with the atmospheric sound-track of baaing sheep accompanying the #bbctorchcam feed. Good morning, fluffy friends. Next stop, bunting-strewn Folly Gate!
0839: Back in torchbearer mode outside Folly Gate and the torch goes to 73-year-old Keith Masdin, who's been nominated for his relentless work raising funds for the Sailsbury-based Hope and Homes for Children charity.
0846: Now onto John Saunders, with a special torch-holding device attached to his wheelchair. Since being diagnosed with Motor Neurone disease in 2010, we're told he has been doing all he can to raise awareness about the degenerative illness as well as raising money for charity. And there's a big Folly gate crowd out to cheer him on!
0850: BBC Radio Devon's Kirk England in Folly Gate: "The mist has descended but it's not interfering with the atmosphere. There are hundreds of people waving their union flags."
0853: Back in convoy mode for the short scoot up the A386 to Hatherleigh. The relay's making good time today - only about five minutes behind schedule...
As we wait for the running to get under way in Hatherleigh, here's a shot of Gorgs Geikie passing the flame to Martin Morgan in Okehampton.
0902: Big crowds in Hatherleigh, from uniformed school kids to shopping-bag carrying locals. And at ease for the next torchbearer Mark Edwaerds, a Royal Engineer who is taking on the grueling training for a coveted green beret. Carrying the 1kg torch should be a doddle. No wonder they've given him an uphill leg to run!
0903: Onwards and upwards past a bell-ringing town crier, complete with terrier on a leash. And here's a way to mark 22 years together: Mrs Rowland has nominated husband Colin to carry the torch after watching him tirelessly raise awareness and money to help find a cure for diabetes. This year Colin hopes to swim the English Channel.
0907: The flame is back in the lantern as the relay team hop on the buses for another stint on the A386 past tractors, fields and the beautiful - if misty - Devon countryside - this time to Merton.
0912: Hi to those commenting via twitter and facebook. Thanks for getting in touch, and following the #bbctorchcam action with us. Emma Siddall writes: "Really loving the Live feed. Seen some friends and family cheering on the Torch bearers!"
Let us know your thoughts: You can e-mail yourpics@bbc.co.uk or text 61124, tweet us at @BBC2012 or visit our facebook page at BBC London 2012.
0915: There goes the live feed - bear with us as we try to get it back on air...
0919: And we're back! Crowds are out in force in Merton. So are the clouds, sadly. Bring the sunshine! First up with the torch, all the way from Watford, is Sonya Nikolosina. The 23-year-old has been nominated for her work with London's young people.
0922: Now Brown Owl - or to bestow her official title Brownie Unit Leader - Claire Ball takes up the torch. During the week, Claire works as a matron with a diabetes research team.
0927: Back into convoy mode for the trip to Great Torrington, and the great flame in the sky is going to burst through this mist at any moment. Promise. Tell you what, rush hour traffic in Devon looks delightful - there are hardly any cars on the road!
0938: Hello Great Torrington. From racquet sports to relay for David Follett, a world star in wheelchair badminton. Para-badminton isn't a Paralympic sport but that didn't stop David, who was paralysed after he was hit by a car, setting up the largest wheelchair badminton club in Britain.
0945: Hometown hellos to Laura Bennett, carrying the torch through her neck of the wood in Great Torrington. The 21-year-old is head coach of the local swimming club.
0952: A first for the torch relay just there as the torch briefly went out in Great Torrington while being carried beside wheelchair-user David Follett - a new torch was lit from the mother lantern travelling with the convoy to replace the faulty torch. That is now being inspected. Meanwhile, how many times can one man run the London Marathon? If you were to ask the current torch carrier Ian Buchanan, he'd tell you 16 times and counting. Every step of the way has helped the 63-year-old raises more than £100,000 for charity.
0954: It's the turn of local football coach Zandy Pitcher to carry the torch. When he's not on the pitch, the 22-year-old also cares for his Mum, younger brother and works as a teaching assistant.
A big thanks to Radio 1 for the #bbctorchcam mention on the Chris Moyles show this morning. Here's what he had to say on air: "We've been watching this feed for half an hour. We're watching the vehicle [carrying the torch] and it's fascinating - and all it is is a car driving down a road. I will warn you though that if you put it on at work you'll end up staring at it because it's ridiculously addictive."
The torch also dropped in to Radio 1's dance party in Torbay on Saturday night where it met up with DJ Fearne Cotton.
1013: And we're back in torchbearer mode in a crowded Bideford. What do you think of Chris Moyles' comments? Are you, like him, addicted to #bbctorchcam? Will it become part of your morning viewing for the next 67 days? Does Homes under the Hammer pale by comparison? Let us know your thoughts via our facebook page or @bbc2012 on twitter - we'll publish what we can.
1015: Wow - Bideford is PACKED. The crowd is 10-deep on each side of the road. Union jacks ahoy! Soaking up the cheers is torchbearer Ross Watts, who's described as "our hero" by his nominees. The 22-year-old refused to let learning disabilities hold him back and after gaining four GCSEs we're told he now works proudly as a security guard.
1022: The torch is taking a breather on the bus as it heads to its next destination. Stay tuned.
1028: For those of you missing the sight of the torch, here's a photo of Ross Watts carrying the flame through the Bideford crowds.
1032: Irene Bidgood says on Twitter: "Yes, like chris moyles addicted to #bbctorchcam. Saw flame on Plymouth Hoe, loved it!"
More on Twitter from Thomas Haley: "#bbctorchcam is on 24/7 whilst I revise! But the sound of crowds of screaming girls coming from my room did confuse my housemates!"
1034: The torch is back on the move in the safe hands of Joey Davis. The Barnstaple man is back from a second tour of duty in Afghanistan in time to carry the flame on its next 300m-leg. Joey was nominated by his son who says "without him I'd be nothing!"
1036: Is that sunshine dappling the streets of Bideford too? Hurray!
1043: The last torch carrier in Bideford is street pastor Duncan Withall, co-ordinator of the Bideford Street Pastors who was part of the formation of Harbour Bideford, a charity that supports the homeless.
1046: Here's a shot of David Follett with the offending torch - just before it went out in Great Torrington. We're back in convoy mode now and heading for Sticklepath.
1053: Quick shout out to @Vaux324, @nickisherwood and @dangrabham who've tweeted us to say they are glued to #bbctorchcam coverage. Doreen Sibley says: "Have a house to clean, but will I get away with not doing it for 69 days!!!" And Philip Jones (@bookfaked) is recording Homes under the Hammer to keep up with proceedings on Dartmoor. Thanks for getting in touch and staying with us!
1055: Here's the lowdown from Locog on that flame-out moment: "The flame went out due to a malfunctioning burner. It is not uncommon for a flame to go out and this can happen for a number of reasons, for example, in extreme winds. We keep the mother flame in specially designed miners' lanterns so if the flame does go out for some reason on the relay we relight it from the source of the flame." Praise be to the mother flame!
1057: We're back in torchbearer mode in Sticklepath. Flame carrier Frank Biederman's fundraising began four years ago to raise money for a new children's play park but with £150,000 rolling in he's been able to fund a whole host of local community projects.
1102: And that was a minor tracksuit malfunction for Frank, who had to momentarily pass the torch to one of the security team in order to tighten his trousers. He's not perturbed though, and has pulled off some nifty sidesteps to an adoring crowd!
1103: The torch passes to Ryan Christopher, a teaching assistant who works hard to inspire troubled youngsters. Ryan is also an overnight support worker for the homeless.
1106: After years of experience holding fairtrade cuppas, Tori Lau gets her hand on the flame. Tori's passion in life is spreading the word on fairtrade goods from bananas to bunting.
1113: The next carrier for the flame is county councillor Bernadette Mccarron, who waves cheerily at Barnstaple's mid-morning traffic as enthusiastic supporters run along the roadside to keep up with the cavalcade.
1115: Now here's a man who's not afraid of a jog. After being diagnosed with cancer three years ago, Rick Dean took action. He started running marathons to raise funds for Barnstaple's local children's hospice and now here he is carrying the flame.
1116: If you want to know more about the intricacies of #bbctorchcam, check out this explainer by our technology correspondent Rory Cellan-Jones. It's not as glamorous as you might think - the media van is a converted horse-box!
1119: Woah! Deafening cheers for one of the relay's youngest carriers, Franky Astill Sheppard. He may only be 12 but he has already represented this school in football, rugby and cross country.
1123: Apologies for the dodgy picture as we move through Barnstaple - broadcast quality is affected in crowded areas where lots of people are using 3G... And there's a lot of people out watching the torch travel through Devon!
1124: Here's a man with a second chance. Former runner Tony Hill was selected to carry the torch in the 1948 Olympics only to be ruled unfit by the doctors after a bout of appendicitis. The 86-year-old's nominee has described the 2012 Games as a chance to "fulfill his lost dream".
1128: Jump to it Annelies Willerton! The 20-year-old from Gloucester has been nominated for her work as a judge for British trampolining.
1137: We're back in convy mode for the short drive up the A361 to Wrafton.
1143: Is it a duvet day in Devon?! These crowds are phenomenal! Loads of school kids out lining the streets as well - it's great to see the public support being generated for the Olympic flame's journey across the UK. Have you taken the day off to watch the torch relay? Get in touch if so and we'll try and give you a mention.
1146:Andy Seward has made a global impact, organising sport in Zambia, Papua New Guinea, the South Pacific - and not to mention Devon. After a lifetime of sport, the 67-year-old has Parkinson's disease but is determined to carry the Olympic flame.
1149: As the torch makes its way through Braunton, a quick word on tickets: If you're after a seat at the Paralympic closing ceremony, be quick - Coldplay have confirmed they're performing at the gig in the Olympic Stadium on 9 September, so tickets will be selling fast...
1150: An emotional moment now - Andy said he was determined to walk some of his relay leg despite his disease - and he's doing that now with the help of some of the security team.
1155: Now running with the torch is Sue House, who is swapping handlebars for the Olympic torch after getting on her bike for the last 20 years to raise money for charity.
1158: There's a big crowd out in Braunton, and nominated to carry the flame here by her daughter Savannah is Julie Clawson, a local high school teacher who also organises local running clubs.
1201: Back into convoy mode for a quick drive up the A361 to Knowle. While we're waiting for the next torchbearer, hi to Janet Crossland who has facebooked us from Perth, Western Australia, where she's following #bbctorchcam online. "Moved here 31 years ago from South Devon and loved seeing the towns, villages and countryside again. Well done BBC.
