In the short time since they formed, enigmatic Liverpool quintet The Seal Cub Clubbing Club have toured with The Fall, British Sea Power, Field Music, Black Wire, Brakes, Juliette Lewis and Clinic. They've also enjoyed support from Marc Riley and Steve Lamacq on 6 Music.
Not content with making fabulous music, TSCCC also run their own book club, bringing an impressive library of novels along to gigs for fans to borrow from or supplement with their own.
Recorded under the guiding hand of producer Barny (Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, The Enemy), their debut album Super Science Fiction was released on 5th May 2009. In the band's own words, it's a diverse collection of songs "that veers dangerously close to being unlistenable without actually becoming so."
