The best live band on the planet.

Alex
in response to Young Team there was no new songs played. The only song you have missed from the set list is "2 rights make 1 wrong" off of rock action. I posted up the full set list on brightlight and a small review

This is mesmorising music and terrific television. I cannot twig why a band that sells out the Royal Albert Hall in London in a heartbeat gets so little coverage though with the BBC's offering at this year's T. Shove on the rest of Mogwai's set. It can't be that tricky surely?

Glenn Moss
This band are the greatest

jimbo
brilliant

JP
Rest of the coverage would be appreciated. @YoungTeam did they not play "2 Rights Make 1 Wrong"?

rich
so wheres part 3, 4 and 5!?!

YoungTeam
This was the highlight of my weekend, I'm a massive Mogwai fan and they blew me away! They were the best band of the weekend in my opinion."amateur fan" I'm not sure if you'll read this but they played; Glasgow Mega-Snake, Friend Of The Night, Hunted By A Freak, Mogwai Fear Satan, I'm Jim Morrison I'm Dead, I Know What You Are But What Am I?, Batcat and a new song i hadn't heard before. I think that was them all...

Thanks for putting the videos up. Appreciciate it. Most original band Ive heard since 1989 Primal Scream. They do it.

Jill
front row, just loved it...you guys are so toatlly under rated it's a bloody outrage!!wish you'd played kids are skeletons though...

JP
Part 1 - Hunted by a freak followed by Mogwai Fear Satan.Part 2 - I'm Jim Morrision, I'm Dead followed by Batcat.

Donald
Come on now BBC, you're almost halfway there! Only 5 more songs to put online and you'll be giving Mogwai fans the same level of coverage as whoever it is that likes Keane!

Herod
Oh dear, that's me in the checked shirt at the end of Hunted Like a Freak, head bowed in what's more like a heavy metal pose. How good are Mogwai? To quote Trainspotting: "take the best orgasm you've ever had, multiply it by a thousand and you're still nowhere near.."Great footage.

frankie
ma mate is cuzins with the guy at the start of the first part of the video

Tyler Mason
Barry is my cousin and he didn't even tell me he was in TITP!!

UnitShifter
Don't mistake it as being about the music... Mogwai just aren't as marketable/sellable as Lily Allen and Keane etc. The music industry carefully regulates and dictates everything. Mogwai don't appeal to the ignorant masses, they're not... *gasp*... "mainstream".Come on, you know how it works. It's not about the best music but the fattest cash cow.

pubey
@amateur fan. "hunted by a freak" and "mogwai fear satan"

Sam
Why don't they make this video available to people that aren't in the UK!?

cody
more please and soon ta

Sam
"Amateur fan"---the songs are "hunted by a freak" and "mogwai fear satan".

Christina
it's a disgrace that one of scotland's finest bands and my absolute highlight of the whole weekend weren't shown on tele. watching keane for the 50th time is much better i'm sure!!! ridiculous!!

Gus
Brilliant music, brilliant performance.Well done lads

Satan
I fear Mogwai

Donald
Well done the beeb, any chance of getting the rest of the set put on? I know there were at least 4 other songs broadcast on BBC3 at some point in the early morning, even just these would be good.

uncletrunckles
no part 2?

dumbo
ah, there's some

tam brown
Thanks for putting that up. Really good audio.

Does anyone know the names of the songs they played?

JP
I would really appreciate some footage from their set. The set looked good!

Craig Morris
A headlining band and not even any footage of their set, disgrace. We have had Lily Allen etc. coming out of our ears from Glastenbury.A broader coverage with the 340 odd BBC personal that went would be better.

Graham
Any chance of footage being available?

What No Coverage???
An outrage.

Alan Anderson
Where is the set from Scotlands finest? They headlined King Tuts stage on sunday night! Come on BBC!

J T
Why is this not on the iplayer . I missed this last night and would love to see it.

Donald
