Cat House have kept things relatively low-key so far - their Myspace reveals nothing but their music. A deliberate decision not to immerse themselves in London's over-saturated music scene has seen them instead inject life into Chelmsford's once non-existent scene, hosting packed, dancefloor-decimating clubnights at the town's 'Barhouse' venue.

The band recently moved into their very own studio space ('The Cattery') in a barn on the outskirts of Chelmsford, where they are currently recording their debut album and remixing other people's tunes. With the band's artwork done by guitarist Luke Hatley, the music produced by front man Christian and the band currently being self-managed, Cat House are DIY to the core.

Cathouse are a very interesting band with a fresh sound that is irresistibly danceable. I expect we will be seeing a lot more of them in the months to come. I am pleased that the sock appears to have been claimed.

Sheina

You can never have enough socks and there's always plenty of room for more Cat House! Let's hear more of them on the wireless please BBC.

Christian (Cat House)
Groovey Girl is totally entitled to her opinions BUT as a member of the band/Cat House this was the most exciting gig we've ever been asked to play and if the BBC didn't put so much time and money into new and emerging music we'd never play such a big festival or have some amazing footage to remember it by. People who worked at the stage on the day that we played were really helpful regardless of what they were presented with.THANK YOU!!!

tels dad
well sounded ok well done hope u do more in the future .

Groovey Girls
Cat House were brilliant ! They had alot to contend with though ... they were treated very badly by the festival organisers, had a guitar go missing and their equipment damaged by stage staff ... !! Your stage is in the darkest dingiest part of the festival and we were surprized that anyone knew it was there at all by the way, (bet you don't publish this comment BBC)

lola leigh
absolutely brilliant. gonna enjoy watching them climb into our radio boxes soon.

Julia
Thats my sock!! LOL
