Biffy Clyro

Biffy Clyro are a Scottish rock group from Ayrshire whose members are Simon Neil (lead vocals, guitar), James Johnston (vocals, bass guitar) and Ben Johnston (vocals, drums). They formed in the mid 90's and have since produced four albums. Their fourth album, Puzzle, was championed on TV and radio, and Biffy have promoted it with a tour and many festival performances over the summer of 2007.

thought biffy were absolutely brilliant, just a shame there is no live highlights.WHY !!!

Anthony
The bbc should try to show more diligence when selecting which bands to air, and how much airtime they get. Surely they must recognise true art in its best form, and not what the majority appreciate - they afterall, are destroying music. mon the biffy. x

benthebiff
how come they havent uploaded any of their live set?

daveyyyy
can anyone from the BBC tell us if we should expect more tracks up? or is this all we're getting...?

James
I hate how people think that Biffy sort of didn't exsist before Puzzle. I was singing along to Justboy and 57 and one of my mates said "How do u know all their new songs already. This annoyed me alot!

Mon the Biffy
I just dont see why more isnt being shown?!? The cameras were in full operation and they will have the footage so why not show it?!?!

alex
serious lack of pre puzzle need some stress on the sky and bodies in flight still a decent live band lacking the tunes now though

del hoops
Yeah biffy were sound. But i aggree with the lad named khane their older stuff was better blackened sky was a cracken album and only two songs got played from that.

ashley mccraw
more ofthis outstandin scottish band should hav been shown on bbc! MON THE BIFFY!

graham
it's a crying shame there wasn't more biffy shown. this band is criminally underrated by some of the media. they OWN live, so more would be better -biffy are best seen/heard live.

khane
fair dues to the biff for becoming successful and everything but only 4 pre puzzle songs ?am i the only one who thinks there older stuff is a hell of a lot better than puzzle ?

Dave Carlin
The Biff rocked T again! Please add more songs from their set. Hopefully "57".

Drew
If it wasn't for the BBC we wouldn't see these videos anywhere else, so lets be honest - we need to appreciate it when we get it!

malky
Where was the coverage this year? It was all "ohhhh the Fratellis!"Not impressed@Teddy They dont play Folding Stars cus it's about his mum who died.

matt
Mon the Biffy!!! The highlight of my weekend. More coverage bbc pls!!!!!

KTNIGE
Why only three songs???..I think the BBC are scared of the sheer brilliance - uniqueness - and raw power of this band...this is their 8th visit to T...they are used on the TV credits...so why are they so overlooked...MON T'BIFF !!!!

him
wot bout oxegen in Ireland.only a few words said bout it

Kamy
Biffy were amazing at Glastonbury! There was more coverage of the Biffy gig there than there was at T in the park on the BBC - How SHAMEFUL!!Can't a superb scottish band not get better coverage in their own back yard! Woe betide you BBC!!!

Billy
Never seen them live before T.... ABSOLUTELY BLEW ME AWAY....BRILLIANT!!

Aethelion
I agree with Lyndsey; Biffy deserve the best support from everyone because they are unique! It was so great to see them and Jefferus (sum guy on this list), Mountains was awesum man!

Amy
Where is the rest of the set? Best part of the weekend. Mon the biffy!

will
get all the songs up!!

the truckers
mone the biffy, si is the king of the world

Al
Dear BBC, there are bands outside indie music such as Biffy that are hugely popular-3 songs is utterly feeble considering you've got like the wombats entire frickin set. Please open your mind a wee bit

Lyndsey
more Biffy - less Fratellis.not impressed with the bbc coverage this year. Biffy were amazing and deserved more coverage

Teddy
Mon the biffffffffffffyyyy.Brilliant set, was sad they didn't play folding stars but i heard they didnt play it for a good reason.

JayFunk
Bad coverage of an amazing performance was gutted they didnt play Glitter and Trauma or tbh the fact they only played or 4 songs from their old albums where can I find teh acoustic performance of mountains

paulb
anyone got the full setlist?

Si-mon the Biff
I blame Radio 1 for the lack of support for a genuinely unique band. Too many chancers are geting coverage. Biff forever

phil
theyre playing the songs so fast - they can hardly keep up with themselvesamazing band, but rushed and sloppy here

charlie(guti)
soooooooo cool

sucio
they have come a long way from playing the arbroath viewfield hotel, mon the marmaduke!

Josh

stompy
we demand more biffy!!!!!! missed t this year first time since it started and biffy was the main band i was gutted at missing . give us more biffy!!!!!

Div
Shame on the BBC- not enough coverage of such a great band.

assembly point 3
3 songs - where's the full set - dissapointing

Simonator
I can't understand why Biffy don't get as much coverage as these other bands seeing as they got such a huge crowd singing every single word. Everyone at T goes mad for them, why can't the BBC see that? Probably the one of my favourite ever Biffy shows, they really were on fire

Ross
Best Band ever!Mon The Biffy!

Dave
thanks for the absolutly amazing performance... "57" made my weekend.MON THE BIFFY!!!!

James
Why isn't there more coverage of Biffy? What's going on?!

Jonyp
BBC are only showing 3 songs, are they taking the mick. One of the best bands in the UK over the last decade and this is all the coverage they get. It disgusting.

Bryan
Yea i was hoping for some coverage of 57but i got to see mountain so hey im happyThey just keep going up! i cant wait till the year they headline :)...will happed

air hostess
i like the way his tatoo is featured on the coverage. MON the biffy x

Khaz
Shame on the bbc for not showing more Biffy. Maybe they thought playing "Mountains" in the links was enough!

MrB.
Biffy have always given 100% behind their awesome sound. They now deliver true stadium performances for audiences and fans around the world. They are amazing scottish exports and there is nothing better than seeing them play on home soil! BIFFYTASTIC!!

Craig
Why are there only 3 songs. Their whole set should be on this. Mon the Biffy!

Dee
Thought Biffy Clyro would have a decent amount of air time on BBC. We spent all evening flicking between channels and they were hardly on at all - then we were told they were going to be on BBC Scotland and some Sky channel - which we don't have. Why did the BBC use Biffy clips to advertise T in the Park if they weren't going to show them as much as some other bands, who seemed to be on one channel or the other all the time?! Very frustrating! Perhaps the BBC is scared of the power of the red jeans!

PMac
Best.Band.Ever.

Merlyn
Why the duck is the whole set not up? I thought that at Glastonbury they had played only new stuff but when you see the set list, they played 57, glitter, justboy, my recovery injection and I think another old one too. But none were put up on the internet by the BBC. They need to get better advisers or something

Graeme
The BBC's coverage of Biffy Clyro is just awful. They never show the band's whole set on TV, just 3 or 4 songs. Just once I'd like to see the BBC give this great band the coverage that they deserve. It's very ironic that at T in the Park this year, Biffy Clyro got much less coverage than The Fratellis. Both bands are Scottish (Biffy being the better of the two bands, in my opinion) and T in the Park is a Scottish music festival. You'd think that all the Scottish bands playing would get an equal amount of coverage by the BBC but no. The BBC show the whole set by The Fratellis and yet, Biffy Clyro are basically ignored in favour of the more "mainstream" music, which is real shame because there's alot more to Biffy Clyro than what the coverage they get from the BBC suggests.

seh
Northampton = absolutely brilliant.Check Sheffield August 10th

layney
Sat through the Fratelli's set about 3 times before a mere whiff of biffy was mentioned. And what happened when they were supposed to cut to Biffy?...the bleedin Fratellis started playing! More diverse tv coverage of bands please. We don't all want to see the headliners constantly. The old coverage years ago was much better.

Phil and Greg
Mon the Biffy!

billy fae the well
mon the biffy. outstanding as usual.

Joe
Bbc's coverage of Biffy is terrible. It's always all Puzzle, they do play other songs too.

Mark M
My absolute favourite band EVER. MON THE SCOTTISH 3 PIECE!

emma
totally agree about there not being enough biffy they're the most exciting british band since their debut 'blackened sky' and totally deserve all the recognition from 'puzzle' especially as this is their 8th T. they are are a true festival band great performers with quality tunes to back it up. also hate how there's so little coverage compared to glasto? is this just because of the 'glasto experience' or bbc biasness me thinks?

Cheezqueen
Can't agree more amazing, incredible band, mountains is the best song and the coverage has been awful, on tv mountains heavy version and acoustic version and a 2 in chat was shown when kaiser cheifs, fratellis, raconteurs, and the kooks got their sets shown numerous times and with lengthy interviews too, shameful! On the plus side they were fab and they looked gooooood!

kev
Acoustic version of Mountains was brilliant.

paulie
best band ever

devan
they where amazing last night in northampton

lynnes mom
mon the biff nice jeans brilliant new single luv u guys

billy
not enough of their first 3 albums played :( in fact none shame but puzzle is just not quite as good

mr x
NOT ENOUGH BIFFY ON INTERNET OR ON TV. This is shit as Biffy are one of Scotlands best bands and T in the park is a SCOTTISH festival therefore should have more of the SCOTTISH music playing. Less of same-y 'popular' music would be greatly appreciated for real fans of good music

toe
mon the biffy

Jefferus
wish i could go just to see these guys play their new single!

therealunklemunkle
mon the bifnuff said
