Children
from Foxdells Junior School and Dallow Community School devised
a list of what they felt was representative of the Dallow area in
Luton - and then went out and took photographs of the area.
Their
photographs and work have been made into an eye-catching dynamic
montage by artists Holly Darton and Ben Connors.

They
had volunteered to bring together the children's work after hearing
an appeal for artistic input on BBC Three Counties Radio.
Ben
and Holly both graduated from Central St Martin's School of Art
and Design with degrees in Fine Art in July and want to concentrate
on working to make art accessible to a variety of communities.
Holly,
who lives in Sandon in Herts, went on a tour of Dallow to get a
feel for the area and then with Ben used the children's photographs
and writing into an unique montage.
Holly
said: "The montage combines photos, writing and drawings from
local school children - things that represent their area and things
that they like about their community.
"We
met up and completed the project in a day. It was a fun challenge
which we enjoyed doing and we hope that the people of Dallow are
pleased with it."
The
montage is going to be hung in the centre's reception area for all
users of the centre to admire.
