ESSENTIAL INFO

Not Very Big Brother is an EndemSmall production for BBC Beds, Herts and Bucks.

A specially created state-of-the-art house will serve as home for six men and six women for 64 days.

No expense has been spared on the cardboard creation - which with one bedroom, a hot tub and a dairy room (complete with sympathetic listening cow) has a back to basics feel about it.

Davina McSmall.
Davina McSmall - who is expecting - will present Not Very Big Brother.

Not Very Big Brother had more than 10,000 applications - 2,500 people were auditioned and then psychologists whittled it down to a final dozen.

Webcasts will start of the empty house on Friday 23 May at 10am - ready for the influx of the 12 secret housemates at about 8.30pm.

A EndemSmall spokesman said (in a little voice): "We hope people will take part in what we believe to be the smallest reality television programme ever staged.

"Viewers will be able to be truly interactive by directing the plot - something we think has never been done in this format before."

I cant stand that not very funky at all, Big Brother, but Not Very Big Brother, realy turns me on baby, like it realy hits my Rhythm stick, oh yeah.

Brilliant idea. Would rather eat momekynuts with the shells on than watch BB but this is a different kettle of fish. I particularly love the Dairy Room. Fresh plastic milk for every participant? Lovely!

Can I just say that NVBB is blatantly better then BB on C4?!! But, the main question is, when do we get the text alert service, so we don't miss a second?!!

Nice idea. Surprising similar to Big Brother's Little Brother however ... I assume that's coincidental ?

I was on a nose around the local bbc minisites, when i came over NVBB. I love it, it is great fun and a good laugh, it nice to see the local bbc web teams have a very good sence of humour. How about getting a bit on other local sites, you should share something as fun as this.
