What
is a spiritual place?
A spiritual place is not neccessarily somewhere that makes you feel
closer to a 'God'. It all depends on you, and what makes you feel
inspired.

Peace Pagoda at Willen |
It
should be a place where you are able to tear off the shackles of
everyday life that stop you being able to think clearly or seriously
or creatively, somewhere that you feel relaxed and at peace with
yourself.
Therefore,
it can be somewhere that you find spiritually uplifting or that
you feel just brings you closer to nature. Or maybe you know a place
that has either changed your life, or given you a lift or inspiration
at a difficult time.
Where
do you go when you need to feel better? Whether it's a hill or valley,
a mosque or on the football terraces, we want to hear from you.

| I
would like to nominate a place in the three counties for a spiritual
place, if no-one else has already done so. The place is Ashridge
park. My wife and I went for many walks up at ashridge, and
when we were up there, we felt at peace with the world no matter
what was happening in our lives, including my father in law
dying. I proposed to my wife on bended knee in the mud, and
so when ever we go up to Ashridge, i feel close to god, creation,
and my wife that i have been gifted with. |
