From the director of the hit films Magnolia and Boogie Nights comes Paul Thomas Anderson's latest offering, 'Punch Drunk Love'.

A comedy which is an unpredictable tale of love and emotions. The film stars Adam Sandler as the business stuggling Barry Egan, and Emily Watson as Lena Leonard, the blind(ish) date set up by one of Barry's seven sisters.

Barry is addicted to collecting air mile vouchers and somehow gets mixed up in phoning an 'adult' phone service, resulting in threats and demands of money.

    Adam Sandler.
Adam Sandler is Barry Egan, an eccentric small-business man with 'anger-issues'.

This is just what he needs on top of the demands of his sisters and the struggles of keeping his business afloat. Along with that a small piano plays a major role in this film, having a direct effect on Barry.

The film is easy going to watch, definitely for the fans of Magnolia, and has strong acting from the supporting cast - Philip Seymour Hoffman (Dean Trumbell), Luis Guzmán (Lance) and Mary Lynn Rajskub (Elizabeth).

Punch Drunk Love is on general release from Friday 7th February.
