Moran returns?

The Labour MP for Luton South is to return to Parliament after the recess, subject to receiving a clean bill of health from her Doctor.

Margaret Moran - who claimed £20,000 to treat dry rot at her home in Southampton - has been off sick since the expenses scandal in May.

A spokesperson for her office in Westminster confirmed the MP will return to work on the 12th of October.

Over the past few months she has been signed off by the House of Commons doctor suffering from stress.

In her absence some of her more urgent case work has been picked up by other Bedfordshire MP's and prospective parliamentary candidates for Luton South.

Bill, Luton
Do you think, New Labour could have tried out their new fit note scheme on her first?

Rita Fraser
How will she dare? She should have stepped down.

Gerry in Luton
Margaret who?? we've managed without her for this long - why on earth does she want to bother coming back?

Colin, Luton
Why doesn't she just do the honourable thing and just resign? The people of Luton dont want this woman any more.
