This year the presenters have been set another challenge.... Singers in Need 2009Sunday 1st November 2009 The Grove Theatre, Box Office: 01582 602080 www.grovetheatre.co.uk After previously learning how to ballroom dance, the presenters at BBC Three Counties will now have to learn a new skill for the 2009 BBC Children In Need Appeal... to sing like a star! Rehearsals are now well underway for the BBC Three Counties presenters who are giving up their time to perform in a special one-off musical show at the The Grove Theatre, in Dunstable. Radio presenters Phil Lack, Stephen Rhodes, Helen Leigh, Ronnie Barbour, Katherine Boyle, Jonathan Vernon-Smith, Lorna Milton, Roberto Perrone, Justin Dealey, Luke Ashmead, Barrie Hyde, Ian Pearce, Howard McCalla, Gareth Lloyd, Managing Editor Mark Norman and radio producers Laura Miller, Victoria Cook, Tara Gungaphul, Jenna Benson, Lorna Hankin, Nadine Simpson, Kelly Betts, Rebecca Donovan, Brendan Murphy, Neil Barbour, Tim Wheeler and Jonathan Marsh will all appear live on stage as they put on a show for Pudsey! This is going to be an evening full of surprises and is your chance to see the BBC Three Counties radio team perform a 'Grease Megamix' and Ian Pearce sing live with a gospel choir! The show starts at 7.30pm on Sunday the 1st of November 2009 and tickets are ONLY AVAILABLE from the Grove Theatre Box Office in Dunstable. This show is set to be the biggest Three Counties Radio event ever, with all the glitz and glamour needed for a great night out. Tickets cost £16 for adults with concessions and wheelchair users discounts available. Both the 2007 and 2008 Children In Need events for BBC Three Counties Radio sold out within days, so make sure you get your tickets early.
