The Luton Summer Festival 2008

BBC Introducing... on top of the Downs

As part of the week long Food Festival at the Chiltern Gateway Centre on top of Dunstable Downs, BBC Introducing... is putting on a day of great local bands.

A week long festival of food events starts on Tuesday the 25th of August with a Farmers and Craft Market, then on Wednesday the 26th of August a Teddy Bears Picnic. On Thursday the 27th of August a Tea Dance will be in full swing followed on Friday the 28th of August with a BBC Introducing... day of unsigned local music and a Hog Roast.

You'll need a head for heights!

On Saturday the 29th of August the downs will play host to a Multi-cultural food day, then on Sunday the 30th of August an Historical food day. The final event is a Summer Fete on Monday the 31st of August.

The bands playing as part of the BBC Introducing... day of music are as follows...

There will be a fully licensed bar and hog roast at the BBC Introducing... day of unsigned local music. The event is free and BBC Introducing... will be broadcasting live from the festival.
