The Events > BBC Introducing... on top of the Downs ![]() BBC Introducing... on top of the DownsAs part of the week long Food Festival at the Chiltern Gateway Centre on top of Dunstable Downs, BBC Introducing... is putting on a day of great local bands. A week long festival of food events starts on Tuesday the 25th of August with a Farmers and Craft Market, then on Wednesday the 26th of August a Teddy Bears Picnic. On Thursday the 27th of August a Tea Dance will be in full swing followed on Friday the 28th of August with a BBC Introducing... day of unsigned local music and a Hog Roast. ![]() On Saturday the 29th of August the downs will play host to a Multi-cultural food day, then on Sunday the 30th of August an Historical food day. The final event is a Summer Fete on Monday the 31st of August. The bands playing as part of the BBC Introducing... day of music are as follows... 12:30 ALEX HOLMES There will be a fully licensed bar and hog roast at the BBC Introducing... day of unsigned local music.
