Their unique brand of melodic rock blends elements of pop and hardcore to create the sound all their fans love.

Please state the names of all the band members and the instruments they play…

Mark Moore (guitarist),
Curtis Sharkey (drums),
Dan Twining (guitarist),
Lawrence Wills (bassist),
Owen Tilcock (singer)

How would you describe your style of music?

A unique brand of melodic rock blends elements of pop and hardcore to create the sound all their fans love.

What would you say are your musical influences?

We draw our influences from quite a few bands including bands like we are the ocean, you me at six, a day to remember and fightstar just to name a few!

How did the band form?

4 of us were in a band previous to this one, then it came apparent that a few of us wanted to go in different musical directions and we quit and created 'Fate of a Stranger'. Owen joined us as a singer weeks before our first gig and the rest is history!

Of all the songs you have written, what’s your current favourite and why?

Mark: 'My favourite song has to be How Wrong Was I? It's the fan's favourite and always gets the best reaction at shows and it just makes me feel good inside to hear so many people singing it back to us!'

Curtis: '3's a crowd is personally my favourite - I just feel it flows and is such a well crafted song. Deff one of our finer moments'

What’s your most memorable gig and why?

Mark: 'Im sure all of us have different gigs that stick out in our mind, however my personal favourite has to be when we played at the Grove theatre in Dunstable. We were all so excited about having our own dressing room as luxuries like this don't come our way very often, it even had the lights going round the mirrors! Can't get more rock n roll than that ;) And also it was the best sound we'd ever heard, which always helps!'

Curtis: 'Grove was great - one our earliest shows and we felt like rockstars . However my most favourite gig was Wales I think - just the whole experiance of going down and staying over and stuff . It was just a taste of the fun times'

What’s your fan base like? What group of people would you say you appealed to most?

Our fan base ranges from people younger and older and into different styles of music, both on the heavier and poppier side of things.

What’s the weirdest thing a fan has ever done / sent to you?

Curtis: 'hmm i'd have to think about that one - signing body parts is always fun'

Mark: 'I'm not too sure about that one, we get the occasional female who likes to put our name on their chest, which is always so comforting to see, I also once got asked if I would sign a girls bedroom wall...I obliged of course!'

Name one unusual fact about each of you?

Curtis: 'I've never had a hot drink in my life and I dont intend to'

Mark: 'Sand paper and nail files makes me cringe to the point of suicide'

If you could record a collaboration with ANYONE - who would it be and why?

Curtis: 'hmm I think 'Say anything' would be great to do a collab with - i just find thier music so interesting , would be a cool dynamic'

Mark: 'I would LOVE to collaborate with 'Fall Out Boy' Patrck Stumph's writing is so inspiring and he has by far my favourite singing voice i've ever heard!'

What’s the band’s ultimate ambition or what’s your dream?

Mark: 'For me I wish to be successful and to be able to do this for the rest of my life, if I could be in the band and have enough money to get me by i'd do it without even thinking about it!'

Curtis: 'I guess you can only get as big as you dream, Warped tour would be very nice'

Is there anything else you’d like to tell us?

'We have a tour coming up in the summer, so make sure we see each and everyone of you that reads this out there on the road!'
