How would you describe your style of music?
Elements of Garage rock, folk and blues made bigger
What would you say are your musical influences?
Spiritualized, Arcade Fire, BRMC, Velvet Underground,
How did the band form? (i.e. give a brief history of how you all met and why you formed thband - how long you’ve been together etc)
All went to school together, bored by being surrounded by a small town mentality formed the band as a reaction, and the rest is history
Of all the songs you have written, what’s your current favourite and why? (all band members
can have different tracks as their favourite!)
A New Way to Get By, and Coming Down (Country Song) both for their simple beauty, also have a new song that we really like but we haven't got a name for it yet
What’s your most memorable gig and why?
Best memorable gig supporting Primal Scream, all really nice people and Bobby Gillespie is just how you'd imagine, worst memorable gig - Metro Club, broken equipment, punch ups, moody band members and someone falling UP a flight of stairs! Plenty of memorable ones though!
What’s your fan base like? What group of people would you say you appealed to most?
New sound has made our fan base much more eclectic but have a really loyal following who still call out for our old tunes (which we sometimes encore for a treat)
What’s the weirdest thing a fan has ever done / sent to you?
Lots of things we can't mention on, but our fans are quite well known for stage invasion - anything Mad Colin does is quite strange too!

If you could record a collaboration with ANYONE - who would it be and why?
Johnny Cash, just because he had a voice of thunder and the image to match
What’s the band’s ultimate ambition or what’s your dream?
To be the most important band ever to every human in the world, lack of ambition is a crime
Is there anything else you’d like to tell us?
We are the last great band before the apocalypse
