St Albans Gang Show 2009

Show week next week! 

The pressure is on at the moment but the show is really coming together.  Our first rehearsal at the Alban Arena was last Sunday and everyone is having to put in 200% effort (which doesn't help my GCSE coursework!) to make the show the best it can possibly be.

I am very nervous and excited as this year I have a solo and show week seems to be coming quicker by the second.

Today is the scarf presentation ceremony where everyone new in the cast this year receives their Gang Show scarf.  I'm sure that this will sink the message into everyone that Gang Show is almost here! 

I've experienced the deafening crying from the girls changing rooms because gang show is almost over, for 2 years running already and I'm expecting the same this year.  Looking back, its been a good run and I've realised that Gang Show has brought up my confidence, acting, singing and dancing skills by miles.

This year It's our director and music director's last year so you can expect them to want to go out with a bang!  The show this year will definitely be one to remember.  But fear not!  Next year, our reliable choreographer will take over and become director.
