James Peacock - Drums How would you describe your style of music? Rock and Roll with catchy melodies and unique sounds. What would you say are your musical influences?

There are a lot, between the band we like everything ranging from 50 cent, Eminem and The Streets to Slayer to Guns ‘n’ Roses to Blink 182, Sum 41, Greenday, Angels and Airwaves .... theres so much more where that came from!!! How did the band form? James and Matt met over the Internet after looking for a new band to join, or to form from scratch, Richard later joined us, after he found an advert for a bass player online, and then Ross joined at Christmas time. Of all the songs you have written, what’s your current favourite and why? We all like “My Story”, we believe it is probably the most powerful song we have, which is why we play it to close our set at gigs. What type of gig do you most like to play and why? We prefer to play the smaller venues, because the atmosphere is so much better, you can relate with the audience better, and it's just a great feeling to be amongst it all. What’s your most memorable gig and why?

There have been so many good gigs, and so many funny things that have happened. Our most memorable ones are probably our local gigs, as our friends come down and show support, and it's just a really good night out, and a great atmosphere to be a part of. What’s your fan base like? What group of people would you say you appealed to most? The music is written for all age ranges and so far we have appealed to young teenagers, to people in there 40s and 50s. We try and write good music, with meaning, and that most people can relate to in some way. What’s the weirdest thing a fan has ever done / sent to you?

Probably asked to sign their breasts, they were foreign though, so I suppose we can let them off. Name one unusual fact about each of you. Matt shaves his armpits.
Rich is scared of water.
Ross spends far too much time looking at himself in the mirror.
James is just insane. If you could record a collaboration with ANYONE - who would it be and why? Hmmmm tricky, probably be Blink 182 (if they were still together), because all four of us can relate to them in one way or another, they’re exactly the same as us, just mates out to have a good time doing what they love, and they are so down to earth about it as well. What’s the band’s ultimate ambition or what’s your dream?

To write music that people can relate to, and to be noticed in the streets for being in Silver Sided, that would just be mad. Is there anything else you’d like to tell us?! Ross is secretly a women.
