    Watford 1-1 Inter Milan

Watford drew at home to Italian champions Inter Milan in Tuesday night's friendly at Vicarage Road.

This was a good warm up for Watford ahead of the real thing in eleven days time with Marlon King's performance the highlight.

His goal on the hour mark was as good as any he scored last season as he made space to run onto Darius Henderson's flick and curl a right-footed shot past Toldo in the Milan goal.

Richard Lee had kept out first half efforts from Adriano and Obafemi Martins but Watford's defence was breached with 15 minutes to go as Pizarro caught the Hornets napping to cross for Andreolli to bundle the ball home.

Watford as ever were well organised with Damian Francis and Chris Powell slotting in comfortably, but the only concern was centre half Danny Shittu who failed to appear for the second period after clutching his right thigh late in the first half.

Blast reporter Sam Cartwright captured fans on film before the game. See the pictures here!
