Big George's Business of Sound lifts the lid on the music industry and presents the REALITY of what the chances are for an up and coming band to make it big. Have you ever wondered where the money goes when you buy a record or what happens between a group writing a song in their bedroom and you hearing it on your car stereo. And what does getting "signed up" really mean? What do you actually sign - a management contract or a record contract? Well - wonder no longer because every Sunday afternoon, every single aspect of the music industry is laid bare. But as well as going behind the scenes with some of the real movers and shakers in the business, every week Big George gives exposure to the very best and currently unsigned bands in Beds, Herts or Bucks. As well as playing your music on his show, he will make a 25 minute mini-documentary all about you and your music which will be played on his Sunday afternoon show. This will also be available on the Website so that people around the world can have access to your work! To be considered for a slot on Big George's Sound of Music we need the following: - A CD of your original music
- A one page biog of the band
- A photo
- A signed copy of the contract (downloadable on the right hand side) which allows us to play your music on the radio and put it on the Website
- A completed Q & A form (downloadable on the right hand side). This will be used to form the basis of your profile on the Website.
