It was fantastic waking up this morning worse for wear after celebrating ‘Promotion’ at the Bricklayers Arms with many fans, but knowing that I now support a Championship team, made it all the worth while.
Congratulations are in order to all the Players, Manager Mike Newell, Assistant Brian Stein, and all the backroom staff at LTFC. Fantastic!
But now we want without doubt, the Champions spot!!
What has happened at LTFC over the past two or so years is unbelievable to say the least! The receipe for the teams success is togetherness and having a settled side, and the players knew their strengths and very little weaknesses.
And last but not least, lets make it a fantastic DOUBLE with the Reserves winning the Pontins Combination league and here's to you for next week against Plymouth in the play-off and Millwall in the Combination League Cup Semi-final.

Fantastic!! i have supported the Hatters since 1946.My father and uncle were both club dentists in the 50's and 60's.I was a Century Club member until I moved to the USA some 20 years ago,but I still get back to watch at least three games a season.I managed to get to the wonderful game against Hull.I have also flown over on Concord to watch the Town,when there was a Concord!I now spend every Saturday morning in my office in Bronxville NY listening to the games on Hatters World,
and what a great job these guys have done.It was even more special that the Town were promoted on my birthday the same day that Luton celebrate there 120 birthday.What has happened at the club over past two years is nothing short of a miracle, Mike Newell the players,and all the supporting staff deserve the highest praise for the acheivments over an amazingly difficult time.Nobody two years ago could possibly have imagined that we would be playing Championship football next season ,we were more concerned about whether there would be any football at all!I'm only sorry I can't make any one of the final two home games,but you can rest assured I will be celebrating along with Hatters World on Saturday.

AMAZING!!! I'm sooo happy. Was listening to the Brentford game right through praying that they'd win and what do you know! I'm 15 and in the 5 years that I have supported the hatters we have gained promotion TWICE! How many other teams can say that? Whats more W*tford will probably go down!! Now whos the better team?

I've been on cloud nine since last night and I'm still dancing round the office getting strange looks from the rest of the staff.
I don't get to go to the matches anymore as I have a young family to look after on a saturday but as soon as he's old enough we will be there EVERY WEEK in the Championship, just as I was there EVERY WEEK we were being hammered in the second division. I saw them get relegated and I'm gutted I can't see them promoted.
I'd also like to say a big hello to all the glory hunters that have trickled back through this season. It's nice to have a crowd again but disappointing that the week in week out fans can't get tickets for any of trhe matches from now until the end of the season.
Now if you don't mind, I'm off for another victory lap of my desk!!

As exiled fans living in Oldham, me wife and me were probably the only people in Lancashire cheering this news on the phone this morning at 8am! Being a town fan has always had more than it's fair share of dark moments, but that just makes days like this sweeter. GO TOWN! :)

Congratulations Mike and the rest of the boys, the fans couldn't have asked for anymore this season. The title would be amazing and would show those clubs who flash the cash that money doesn't always buy you success. Mike Newell has done an amazing job and has turned the club round in a really short space of time. Can't wait until Saturday for the celebrations!!!

What a fantatstic achievement from Mike Newell and all the players and staff at Kenilworth Road this season. No one gave Luton a chance at the beginning of the season and look whats happened. A true football fairy tale. I'm really looking forward to Saturday, its should be a great party atmosphere.
