In association with the CPSA we are holding a 'Young Shots Day' which is a great introduction to clay pigeon shooting with our qualified instructors. All equipment and lunch is included.

Following the success of Peter Wilson, London 2012 Double Trap Olympic Gold medallist, this is a fantastic introduction to the sport of clay pigeon shooting or a refresher for more experienced youngsters.

It includes a day's instruction with qualified instructors. The cost includes all clays and cartridges, gun hire, lunch and refreshments.

About this location

The West Midlands Shooting Ground has been established since 1934. The grounds are situated just 13 miles North of Show more… Telford in the heart of Shropshire. The ground itself has the appeal of the finest golf course; a maze of beautifully maintained paths lead you to the 80 plus stands, boasting over 200 clay pigeon traps of the finest sporting targets on offer in the UK today. The Scandinavian log cabin - the first (of its kind on a shooting ground in Britain) offers a wonderful ambiance with an open fire and plentiful seating for up to 60 guests.

The shooting grounds are privately owned by Tom and Debra Jones who have been instrumental in their organisation with perfection to every detail on planning to ensure the success of your day's entertainment. We understand in the right environment you can establish and consolidate relationships and the build the foundations for increased business in the future.

The West Midlands Shooting Ground is justly famous for its high standard of personnel tuition. Our instructors are well used to passing on their expertise to shooting parties, whether they be corporate or private shoots, or to an experienced shot or complete novice.
