Oare Gunpowder Works Country Park was opened to the public in April 2005. Gunpowder manufacture had ceased in 1934 Show more… with the site having been effectively reclaimed by nature. The Country Park is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Visitor Centre is normally open from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays with full toilet facilities, including for the disabled and provision for baby changing.Show less…
