Meet The Birds

Axe Estuary Wetlands, Seaton

Run by: East Devon District Council Countryside Team

Come along and learn some birdwatching skills. Spend a morning in the hide with an experienced volunteer guide and hone your bird ID skills, whatever your level of knowledge.

Five hides (one wheelchair accessible) overlooking freshwater marsh, salt marsh and mudflats. Information Centre at Show more… Stafford Marsh, staffed seasonally by volunteers. Classroom for educational visits. Portaloos next to Field Studies Base. Most paths accessible for wheelchairs, pushchairs, bicycles and people with limited mobility.

Limited free parking at Wetlands car park through Seaton cemetery and nearby bus/ tram routes.
