Two evening walks at different times of the year allowing children to experience walking in the dark to find out about nocturnal wildlife. Suitable for children 5 to 12 years old who must be accompanied by an adult.

About this location

Sculthorpe Moor Community Nature Reserve was created by the Hawk and Owl Trust to protect and enhance the very special Show more… habitat in the Wensum Valley of Norfolk. It includes the valley's only example of saw sedge wetland, a priority habitat for preservation in Europe. Its wildlife includes breeding marsh harriers, water rails and kingfishers as well as barn owls. Otters use its waterways and the fen is home to many species of dragonfly, butterfly and flowering plants.Show less…
