The tour is based on Bray Cut starting from Green Lane and goes south to the River Thames, then return back on the same route. Maidenhead Waterways plans to restore and enlarge the neglected town centre channels in Maidenhead. Bray Cut is part of this waterway system although, up to 15m wide in parts, it is largely hidden and inaccessible, although it's hoped to improve this channel in the long term for canoeists it's already navigable today. This "adventure" tour gives people the opportunity to see the potential for this area first hand, on the tour you will be unlikely to see anyone else.
