Bats and Moths

Run by: Field Studies Council

Look at the lives of bats and moths with discussion on the interactions of the two groups. Use bat detectors to find and identify some of the bats in flight. Moth traps will be run each night.

Moth

Add to calendar

Alternating presentations of various aspects of the lives of bats and moths with some discussion on the interactions of the two groups. The evening sessions will feature a walk in vicinity of the Centre, using bat detectors to find and identify some of the bats in flight. Moth traps will be run each night, which we may look at on our return and in more detail the following day. Course participants will go away having learned about moth and bat ecology and how to study and identify them.
