Your taster session will start with a formal bow, followed by gentle warm up exercises and a series of basic movements, which improve posture and co-ordination, and teach you how to receive techniques safely. The main part of your session will involve practising a series of basic Aikido techniques with an experienced student. The techniques are broken down into easily learned components to make them quicker to pick up and easier to understand; the instructors are always on hand to offer assistance and answer any questions.
