White Oak Aikido, Reading
Run by: White Oak Aikido
Aikido is a non-competitive martial art, teaching the efficient use of the body to maximise its power with fitness, suppleness, good posture and co-ordination all being developed through training.
Suitable for 18+
Your taster session starts with gentle warm-up exercises and a series of basic movements, which improve posture and co-ordination, and teach you how to receive techniques safely. The main part of your session will involve practising a series of basic Aikido techniques with an experienced student. The techniques are broken down into easily learned components to make them quicker to pick up and easier to understand; the instructors are always on hand to offer assistance and answer any questions.
