Our history man Dan believes 'History is the most exciting thing that has ever happened to anyone on this planet'. To prove it he's traveling the country to uncover Britain's colourful past. From China's Terracotta Army and Emperor Hadrian's wall through to the invention of Marmalade and the creation of the first bicycle tyres, Dan is a walking encyclopaedia of fascinating facts.
Dan also competed in the second One Show BBC Children in Need challenge of 2009. He raised the most cash for Children in Need which meant he was made to sing Dancing Queen live in front of millions of One Show viewers.
