Backstage
Meet the reporters that go out of their way to find your stories. Our One Show Community presenters traverse the country speaking to the people that matter, You.
Gyles Brandreth
Our intrepid reporter Gyles Brandreth journeys live across the country for us to discuss the quintessentially British things like only he could. Be it the nation's decline in politeness or showing off some of the realm's best graveyards he has an opinion on everything. His enthusiasm for literature and poetry always shines through with not a knitted jumper in sight
Angellica Bell
Roving reporter Angellica brings the energy and enthusiasm of a former children's television presenter to the One Show, which is just the ticket for travelling right across the UK to present some of your stories. Be it the history of liquorice in Pontefract, road testing the latest tracking devices for kids in Lancashire or meeting some of your barking mad pets in Somerset, Angellica will be there to show.

John combines his serious journalistic eye with his love of the absurd for The One Show. Our BBC correspondent travels the nation recounting our history of industrial striking and examining just what is happening to our traditional British pubs. He also takes time for a spot of Pylon Spotting and asks why we'd all love to live beside the seaside.
Hardeep scours the country for The One Show to reveal the fascinating facts about what makes Britain so interesting. He takes great pride in the fact that he has slept in the beds of Queen Victoria and Jane Austen and is still seeking the answer to that infernal question, 'Why does monosyllabic have more than one syllable?'
Phil Tufnell
The One Show's Phil's not just handy with a bat, he's also a burgeoning artist which would explain why he's inviting himself into peoples homes to have a nose at their artwork. When he's not casting his artistic eye over your paintings, he's driving around the country seeing our favourite landmarks. Plus whenever there's a challenge in our studio Phil's never far away.
