1. What is the Wimbledon NetMix experiment?

1.1 "Wimbledon NetMix Experiment" is a trial of Wimbledon NetMix, which is a BBC Online Service made available by the BBC via the url: http://www.bbc.co.uk/5live/wimbledon/netmix/. The Wimbledon NetMix Experiment enables you to access, view or listen (in real time) to BBC Content made available by the BBC through a "NetMix Player".

1.2 "NetMix Player" is a proprietary application owned by Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft zur Foerderung der angewandten Forschung E.V. ("Fraunhofer"). You may install the NetMix Player on your compatible device (provided you agree with Fraunhofer’s specific licensing terms). The NetMix Player enables you to view live coverage of sports events transmitted through dedicated BBC URLs.

1.3 Compatible Devices: The NetMix Player has been designed to work with personal computers equipped with Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 (OS); and Apple Macs OSX (Intel machines). The NetMix Player has not been adapted to work on portable devices, such as smart phones or tablets, for the purposes of this trial.

2. How can I use the Wimbledon NetMix and NetMix player?

2.1 You can use the Wimbledon NetMix and the NetMix Player for personal use provided you comply with the Terms of Use for personal use and these Additional Terms and the licensing terms issued by Fraunhofer.

2.2 You may install and use the NetMix Player (and any subsequent updates) on a compatible device to access, download, view and/or listen to BBC Content that is made available by the BBC for the Wimbledon NetMix Experiment.

2.3 Your installation and use of the NetMix Player may also be subject to the terms and conditions of persons owning rights in the software that operates the NetMix Player.

2.4 The NetMix Player is provided to you for live transmission only. You must not download, copy or record BBC Content itself.

2.5 The URLs used for the NetMix Player are exclusively for the Wimbledon NetMix Experiment and will cease to be functional after the trial. An 'end of experiment' slide will appear if you attempt to visit the Wimbledon NetMix Experiment URLs once the trial has ended.

2.6 BBC Content made available to you through the NetMix Player shall always be reproduced using the NetMix Player.

2.7 You may not directly or indirectly change, edit or add to the BBC Content in any way, nor combine it with any other material.

2.8 You do not have the right to use any BBC Content or BBC mark/logo on your device or elsewhere or to use the comment boxes on the Wimbledon NetMix Experiment blog except as provided by the BBC itself.

2.9 For the avoidance of doubt, the Wimbledon NetMix Experiment is limited to personal use. Business Users cannot participate in the Wimbledon NetMix Experiment or use or download the NetMix Player under the Business Terms of Use or these Additional Terms.
