Middlesbrough.

Favourite part of our area: 

I have so much to re-discover, although when visiting I always head for Clay Bank and the Wainstones for my walks and runs.  I can see the whole of Teesside from the top, all her contrasts and character.  I have never surfed (if you can call it that) in the north sea.  We'll see about that now.

Why do you love your job: 

Discovering and learning about aspects of other’s lives.

Previous jobs: 

I do weird and varied… Actor, Health and Fitness Professional, Gladiator (what an experience), National Trust Warden, School teacher, NHS Staff Support counsellor and still teach and do work as a Psychotherapist with my company.

Most interesting person interviewed for radio: 

Esther Rantzen (one of my first interviews for an anti-bullying campaign) she has a grace alongside her strength that I admire in some women.

Person you would most enjoy being stuck in lift with: 

My Dad, Jack Youdale (astronomer for BBC Tees for 30yrs!) No subject is out of bounds.   

First record you bought: 

Variations on a Theme by Pagganini.  I needed to get out more. 

Where you are when you get most of your inspiration or creative thoughts:

If not when out walking or reading then it is most definitely in my bath!

Funny sayings you like to use: 

Apparently it’s more what I don't say, I have a ‘look’, great for radio huh? Oh and ‘discombobulate’.

Any habits, annoying or otherwise: 

I seem to know bits about the most random things.  I like to be prepared and hate being late for things.
