Andrew Mockler

As seen on stage with Sting

Stinging talent

Andrew Mockler was just a local kid with a dream when Sting asked him for a favour - to sing on his behalf. Listen again here...

With only two years experience on the scene, Andrew Mockler boasts in his biog that he's sang on stage with Sting. Not an experience many can share, so he must be half decent.

We listened to his song 'I'm Watching You' from 'Your Reprieve'.

So, did he measure up?

Yes, he reminds me of Savage Garden and has an almost nasal voice that's pretty mainstream and easy to listen to.

Yet again another talent who writes all his own songs, Andrew Mockler has that boy band feels that means he'll appeal to a wide audience and will probably do great things.

I saw Andrew with Sting at the Telewest Arena last November too. He's sang with him a couple of times. Great track BTW!

Pete Robertson
I thought I'm Watching You has a terrific song and better than a lot of current chart stuff. Andrew seems to have what it will take to become a successful songwriter/singer. Thanks for the review!
