Pellethead

Pellethead make a come back...

Head and shoulders above the rest.

Pellethead, those 100% punk rock legends of Teesside are having a bit of a revival, and what better way to set if off than getting a review on Gobstopper?

Pellethead are known throughout Teesside as "those punk rock guys" that have been around for almost a millennia.

Ok, perhaps a slight exaggeration, but they do form part of the now solid core of Teesside music, kicking out tunes since the early 90's.

We listened to 'Northern' on Wednesday 8th June.

So, are they still as good as they were?

Hell yes!

Bob happily drifted away reminiscing about how great they were in the good old days whilst me and Mark talked about how they're not exactly Sunday morning music, or music to listen to in the bath, but they definitely have a place in society, and that place is in a jump about, scream and shout, kinda venue.

Get a few beers inside you and let out all your pent up energy as you can't help but jump up and down and wave your arms in the air to this band.

They're ace. But we all knew that already.

Marvellous band. Don't think Northern is their best track mind...
