FMTTM wins EMAP fanzine of the year

Boro fans have loved it for years and it has finally got the recognition it deserved at the 2005 EMAP fanzine awards.

Fanzines have always been a major part of DIY culture, and are usually for people to obsess about bands but as readers of Fly Me to the Moon know, fanzines aren't just for people into music.

Hardcore Boro fan and local journalist Rob Nicholls has run FMTTM for the past twelve years and entered his fanzine into the EMAP Fanzine of the Year awards.

EMAP (a media company which produces magazines like Kerrang! and Q and FHM) have run this competition for 2 years now and they received hundreds of entries from around the UK this year, with their eyes on the main award of 500 pounds.

Listen to the link in the top right to hear Rob's reaction to his win.
