I don't believe in fairies...

If you just read that out loud you'd better get clapping or our reviewer will be after you!

BBC Tees reviewer Janice Slater

Do you believe in fairies, flying and Peter Pan?

For a magical Neverland trip visit the Darlington Civic Theatre, and see the amazing Peter Pan.

Steve Arnott as Captain Hook was your typical villain, with the whole audience lifting out of their seats to boo and hiss him as he taunted both the cast and the audience alike.

Lee Brennan as Peter Pan was amazing in the flying scenes-I am sure every child there wished that they too could fly with him.

Of course Cannon and Ball did their job making us laugh, especially as Sumo wrestlers (You'd have to go see it to understand!)

The audience joined in with their zany humour, shouting and jeering upon their every request-just how a panto should be!

The whole cast were very professional and the choreography was excellent-But only what we have come to expect at the Civic.

If you want a magical  Christmas make sure you start with Peter Pan at the Darlington Civic Theatre.
