What is The Surgery?
The Surgery aims to be a useful source of clear and frank information for teenagers about personal issues such as relationships, puberty and health. The site is focused for a teenage audience aged 13 - 17 years.
What happened to the old site?
The new site launched in July 2007 and replaces previous content on Radio 1 and Slink. The ambition is to bring the different information together in one place for both girls and boys.
Who creates it?
The Surgery is a joint project between BBC Switch and Radio 1. There's more on our credits page.
