Wondering what this site is all about? Well, you've come to the right place.
What is 'Slink'?
Fun, Fashion, Facts of Life - Slink is an online magazine for teenage girls. The site aims to provide down-to-earth information and entertainment with everything from factfiles about depression and sexual health to games and quizzes.
Our health pages are written by qualified GP Dr. Mel and we collaborate with health and welfare organisations such as Women's Aid, the Suzy Lamplugh Trust, Jo's Trust and the Maguire Project on our real life stories and other advice content.
We cannot respond to every email we receive so if you ever have a serious health worry, or are concerned about your welfare, we recommend that you seek advice from one of the organisations listed in our advice pages.
Why's it called Slink?
We were looking for a name that was unusual and more interesting than the old name, 'Teens'. A name that reflects our values - fun, daily, real, yours.
What happened to the Teens site?
This site used to be called Teens. We redesigned it and changed the name in June 2006. We kept most of your favourite content and moved it into the new Slink site, as well as adding some brand new stuff.
Who creates it?
Slink is created daily by a small BBC team, with the help of freelance designers, coders, contributors and qualified health workers. There's more on our credits page.
How can I send my ideas and feedback in?
