Does he LIKE like me, or are we just friends?
Recently, me and my guy friend have become very close, and I'd say he was my best friend.
But I love the attention he gives me and I think I've fallen for him.. Quite often, I get signs that he likes me, like he hugs me and stuff, and would like to know who I like..
He used to like me and mentioned that not long ago..
But I'm not sure because he always tells me about other people he likes and he's open to me about his feelings a lot just like a normal friend..
Does he like me or have I fallen in love with our friendship?

Slink Aiss's mate Dean says:
Apparently we need 12 hugs a day, so you're onto a good thing there. I think it's great that your friend is comfortable enough to talk about his feelings and that you two can share a friendly hug.
A close friendship can often feel like a love affair, when you are spending lots of time together and are emotionally open with one another. Before you declare your feelings for this friend you should really think about how much you enjoy the friendship as it is. Maybe hugs are enough for now?
However, you did mention that this friend had actually told you that he liked you before. If you did not respond the way he had hoped back then, maybe he is just protecting his pride and your friendship by telling you about these other people he fancies because he didn't want to make things awkward for you if you don't like him back.
There are ways to jokingly bring this into conversation, like when he mentions someone he likes you could say "Are you trying to make me jealous?" or when he asks you who you like, look into his eyes and say, "You!" Both of those responses can be laughed off by either of you if it makes you feel uncomfortable.
And if it DOES make you feel uncomfortable, then it goes to show you're better off as just good friends who hug sometimes.
Your thoughts:
If you've fallen for him really bad then you are going to have to go for it and tell him how you feel or you will always have the "what if factor" which really isn't good.
If your friendship is strong and he appreciates you it shouldn't make much difference even if he doesn't feel the same way. I have had friends where it really hasn't made much difference.
At the end of the day it's better to have tried and to have only had to endure a few days of awkwardness rather than never doing anything and to have missed out on a chance to be happy.
Best of luck xx

Next week's question:
Me and my best friend both liked the same lad. He asked me out and I said no because I knew our friendship was not worth sacrificing.
The next day she came to my house only to tell me that she was going out with him.
Should I tell her she was second choice and he's not a nice person for asking us both out. knowing we are best friends?
Help!!!!!
