Hiyah, my friend and I haven't been talking lately and recently I got back with my ex-bf (things didn't work out so well in our last relationship) and I really want things to work between us. The thing is my friend suddenly said that I have to pick between her and him. She said she was only doing it for my benefit. I don't want to lose any of them though. What should I do?

This is one sucky situation. It can be really hard to juggle having a boyfriend with having really close friends. There's always going to be times when you want to hang out with your boyfriend instead of your mate or the other way around. The important thing is to make sure one doesn't always get side-lined for the other.
Although your friend is going about it a bit of a silly way, it sounds like she does want what's best for you. It must have been pretty rubbish for your mate to see you get hurt, when it didn't work out with your boyfriend before.
However there is no denying that your mate is having a bit of a moment of poo judgement by asking you to choose between her and your BF.
It's quite an unfair thing to do because it just makes you feel really pressured. The chances are you'll just end up feeling annoyed with her for making you choose.
Explain to her that you really don't want to pick between them. Tell her how much you value her as a mate and that you don't want to lose her.
It might help to tell her some of the reasons why you think things will work out between you and your boy this time round. If she can see that he really does make you happy she'll probably feel less worried about it.
If she's a friend worth having she'll understand and not make you choose. Good luck matey. XXX
