A-Z of You

  • Clitoris

  • Vagina

AKA: clit, love bud, love button, nubbin, orchid, ruby rosebud.

What is it?

The clitoris is a small bud-shape about the size of your little finger-tip. It's very sensitive, and when touched it can feel really good.

Where the lips of your vagina meet at the top (the end furthest from your bum) there's a small fold of skin, and hiding underneath is the clitoris.

What's it for?

The clitoris is the only part of the human body purely designed for pleasure. It has no other purpose.

I'm scared to touch it

Don’t be. It’s as much a part of your body as your hands and face. It won’t hurt if you touch it gently, in fact it ought to feel really nice.

It’s good to get to know your body, including your most intimate bits.

Start by getting used to the way your vagina looks using a hand mirror. Not every girl enjoys touching her clitoris, most discover what they like through masturbation.

REMEMBER: Sex under 16 (the age of consent) is illegal
