Would guys go out with someone who is taller than them?
There are lots of reasons why some lads might not go for a girl who's significantly taller than them.
You'd need to carry a stool everywhere just to snog them. Or wear specially-made shoes. Or spend the entire relationship sitting down. It's just not worth it.
Or is it?
Lots of tall girls are great. And, as I have said many times, boys are normally not that fussy, frequently pursuing idiots and mingers. So why not tall girls?
It leads us to the real question - would girls go out with someone who is shorter than them? And for many chicks, the answer is no.
It's no surprise. From the vantage of a tall person, short people are funny-looking creatures whose feet don't touch the floor when they're sitting on the bus.
Given the choice of approaching two hot girls, one taller and one shorter than he is, a boy might well go for the shorter one. Simply because he has a better chance. But it doesn't mean he didn't like the tall one, he just found her more intimidating.
An inch or two doesn't really matter. But if you fancy a lad who's much shorter than you, he might need proof you're not heightist before he makes a move (perhaps reveal a fantasy about kissing Danny Devito).
It's different for dogs. Dogs think they are all the same size. They have no concept of other dogs being bigger or smaller than they are. That's why you see little dogs bark at massive dogs without any apparent concern for their safety.
Can we learn from dogs? It's a question that's been asked for centuries and I'm afraid don't know the answer... yet.
