Why do lads lie about their life to get our love? Then when we find out they finish with us and refuse to talk to us. What do we do to deserve that?
You've rolled three separate questions into one there - talk about getting your money's worth. I'll do them one at a time.
The lying thing is simple. If a certain kind of boy spots a way of increasing his pulling chances, he'll take it. Lying is a means to an end.
The second bit is also easily explained. Once a boy's told you he's being groomed to take over his dad's multi-million dollar film production company - and then you spot the pair of them flogging DVDs from dodgy sports bag down the market He's going to feel a bit stupid. Stupid enough to never want to speak to you again. His pride has been hurt. It's him, not you.
As for the third part, on the face of it girls don't do anything to deserve this. But why do you think boys lie in the first place? It's to impress you. Ask yourself: would you be keener on a lad that was a European snowboarding champion or best mates with Jay Z?
Maybe if girls weren't such suckers for boys with cool-sounding stories, we'd just tell you the truth.
This isn't an excuse - and it's certainly not your fault. But the point is we don't lie out of malice, it's just because we want you to like us and we're worried our real truth is too boring because we're insecure. It's quite sad really.
Right, I better shoot off to training, playing in a big match this weekend against Manchester United.
Please remember: Kev is not an expert, he is just a boy and sometimes quite a silly boy. The main thing to remember when it comes to lads and relationships is to expect respect as the absolute minimum. Find out more about a Women's Aid campaign of the same name.
