What are girls supposed to say when their boyfriend goes on holiday, and they talk about meeting girls? Are they trying to make us jealous?
As Franz Ferdinand sang, it's always better on holiday. And like most boys, I agree with Mr Ferdinand.
About 84 per cent of the boys in my school would regularly pull girls on holiday. Often they would pull several girls in one trip. And the girls were always gorgeous and unusually adventurous.
It was surprising really, given that most of these lads had gone on holiday with their parents, their little brother and their Nan. Hardly the best selection of wingmen. And amazingly, most of those boys went the entire rest of the school year without pulling anyone.
Yep, it's definitely better on holiday - partly because holidays are a fibbers' paradise. They are a magical fortnight where anything is possible and nothing can be disproved.
So I'll never know for sure if Scott Langley met the owner of Nike at Disneyworld and was given 15 different-coloured tracksuits for free. All I will say is what I said then: why did he never wear any of the tracksuits?
As for your boyfriend, maybe he is trying to make you jealous. Or more likely, he's just being a boy and can't help spouting nonsense about imaginary girls. If it's annoying you, just casually mention some fit imaginary lads and see how he likes it.
No doubt he did see lots of scantily-clad ladies on his trip to Majorca. But if he actually pulled one of them, I doubt he'd be talking to you about it all the time.
Mind you, Majorca is that kind of place. You know, I went there once and ended up getting off with two fit models.
Please remember: Kev is not an expert, he is just a boy and sometimes quite a silly boy. The main thing to remember when it comes to lads and relationships is to expect respect as the absolute minimum. Find out more about a Women's Aid campaign of the same name.
