If you go by the figures the UK has a serious problem with alcohol. When it comes to young people, the British drink more than most other teenagers in Europe.
You've told us it's often because you're bored and getting drunk helps pass the time.
But not everyone seems that keen on getting wasted. While some people don't drink for religious reasons, others like 16-year-old Jamie say they avoid it because they just don’t like the taste.
