Could your school meal help starving children?

School dinners - you either love them or hate them.

For those of you who prefer to bring a packed lunch, the Government's trying to persuade you to buy a school dinner instead.

A campaign's happening in January involving schools across the UK. The idea is at participating schools pupils will pay an extra 10p for their dinner and this will go towards the World Food Programme.

They say the money raised will help pay for school dinners for children in some of the world's poorest countries.

Adina's been finding out how many of you eat school meals and what you think of the scheme.
