Historic night at the World Championships

A gymnast from Corby, in Northamptonshire, has made history after winning Britain's first ever medal in the men's all-around event at a World Championships.

19-year-old Daniel Keatings won silver in the event at London's O2 Arena while his team mate, Britain's Kristian Thomas, came sixth.

No British man has finished in the top 10 before in the event, which includes performances on the floor, pommel horse, high bar, rings, parallel bars and vault.

The gold went to Japan's Kohei Uchimura.
