What does it take it be a great speaker?

Finalists at the Speak Out public speaking competition talked about topics ranging from hair colour to immigration and parents. The challenge was to sound calm, cool and interesting in front of a large group of strangers and a panel of judges including journalists, a barrister and a Gladiator!

Nearly 20,000 people entered the Speak Out challenge but after heats at schools across Essex and London, the final competition saw 18 teenagers battle it out to be named best speaker and take home the winner's trophy.

BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat's Satwant Pandher was at the final for Revealed.
