STOWMARKET
Stow Live bring the towns recreation ground to
life with a huge party featuring over 100 acts during the course
of Monday 3rd June.
Celebrations start at 12:00 with the firing of a maroon to signal
the beginning of the party. Many
individual bands, groups or soloists will be performing.

Aaron
Short |
Acclaimed
musician Aaron Short will be appearing mid-afternoon on the main
music stage.
Stowmarket
Operatic & Dramatic Society will have just completed its production
of 'Me & My Girl' when it appears at Stow Live. They will be performing
highlights from many of the popular musical shows - played in its
80 year long history.
The Pheonix Youth Choir will be just a year old when it appears
at Stow Live. Pheonix's history may be brief, but it has achieved
an enviable reputation for originality (as well as for its charity
fund raising).
Early
evening will see an appearance by Oskar Foxtrot Productions. Oskar
Foxtrot is a non-profit making Youth Theatre Group, producing an
annual, original, musical.

Infinity

Heidi
Dolan and Vicky Foster who make up the talented and acclaimed young
local musical duo 'Infinity' will be performing.
Dance
entertainment comes from 'Happy Feet' and from the Ann Holland School
of Dance and the Cara Lee School of Dance.
The Claydon Young Performers, Nichola Betts Dance Group and youngsters
from The Suffolk Academy of Dance & Performing Arts will also
be joining in.
'Plush'
is a Suffolk based band playing cover versions of songs by artists
such as Beautiful South, Robbie Williams, Texas, Coldplay, REM,
Alanis Morrisette, Bryan Adams, Manic Street Preachers, Travis,
and many more.

The
group features Dave & Karen Long, on guitar & keyboards respectively,
with Mike Aldrige on bass and Paul Ashworth on drums.
Your host and comperé for the day is John Webb. He is a familiar
voice to listeners to Stowmarket Newstalk (the talking newspaper),
and has comperéd countless local events.
