Did
you manage to see the Queen when she visted Suffolk as part of her
Jubilee tour?

| Do
you think the Queen is an important part of British life to be cherished

Those
of us who do not recognise the need for a hereditory regime,
nonetheless chose not to interfere with the celebrations of
those who do. I just hope they remember, when it is our turn,
that in a democracy we should respect other people's opinions,
even if we do not share them.

I
voted to keep the monarchy in your online
web poll. They are an important part of English heritage
and history, and the taxpayer money they receive is surely a
drop in the bucket compared to the hundreds of millions in pounds
generated by the tourists they attract. I believe this is good
value for money.

The
queen commented to my mum and my-self on our hats we were wearing!
We moved on to the town for another glimspe of the queen before
she left the town. The queen reconised us again and mouthed
from the car I remember those hats! Also you have a photo of
us on the bbci web site! This has really made my mums day.

I'm
13 years-old from Bury St Edmunds. When The Queen visited our
town I was very upset when I wasn't aloud to go and
see her! I think that it should of been made more of a big deal
to schools all around the Bury area, and that if you wanted
to go and meet or see the Queen for the first time you should
be able to.

I
didn't see the queen and i wouldn't want to. The monarchy will
die if it doesn't reform. Cut the civil list right down I say.
The youth of today don't care for it and will not accept it
when we are in our 40s.
